Stampin’ Up Waterfront Project #2

Hey Stampers!! Thanks for stopping by! Here is the second project of the week suing Waterfront stamp set.

Isn’t this cute?! I love it and it didn’t take much time at all!! Here is how I started…

First I used a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock at 4 by 5.25 inches and took a piece of post it note to use for the sun.

Then I used daubers and the color Rose Red ink pad to make my background.  I did very dark near the top and started to push lighter as I went down the piece of cardstock.  IMG_4632.JPG

After I filled in the page until about an inch to the bottom then the rest of the stampin’ can occur.  I used a few different colors for the stampin’ including: marina mist, sahara sand, tranquil tide, and basic black. I also used the Just Breath sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set.

To finish off the card I used a piece of Sahara Sand that was 4.25 by 5.5 and attached a piece of burlap ribbon to it.  Next I used adhesive to attach my stamped masterpiece.  This can now be attached to a card base that is 8.5 by 5.5 inches.

Here is the supply list of everything I used that you can click on to go over to my 24/7 online store 🙂
