The first step is going to be layering your wisteria wonder in a cockeyed fashion to make our design. You want to use very little adhesive to attach these together because you are going to be ripping them apart to then attach them to their garden green counterparts. Here is the formation that I created.
Then you are going to begin to stamp out your peacock. I used the tranquil tide and fresh fig inks for this. As you are stampin’ you do want to make sure you use enough pressure because there is multi layers you’re stampin’ onto and sometimes it doesn’t give a clear image if you don’t use enough pressure. I did a lot of double stampin’ for this, meaning when I was stampin’ the tail feathers I would ink up my stamp, stamp down, and then re-stamp again onto the page in a different place. This gives your tail feathers a lot of different color tones within the same color ink.
Once you are happy with what your creation looks like we are going to gently tear these apart from each other and attach them to their garden green counterparts. Once they are adhesived down you should have three separate pieces. Next you are going to glue them down once piece at a time to each other. Do this carefully to get them in the formation that they were stamped previously. You will find it simple to line up with this stamped image.
After it is all put together I stamped on the sentiments using Fresh Fig and added adorable rhinestones to the flowers that I stamped on with the fresh fig and tranquil tide inks. Then we have our finished product 🙂 Stay tuned for the rest of the week’s daily blog projects that you can make with me! Subscribe to stay up to date on all of my blog posts! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
