Sale-a- bration is the best time of the year for Stampin’ Up because every $50 you spend you get something from the Sale-a-bration catalog for FREE!! Free stamp sets, framelits, ribbon, paper, and lots more options are in the Sale-a-bration catalog. Every week in January I will be focusing on a different stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog.
I will now be blogging 5 days a week 🙂 There will be 5 projects that you will get to learn how to make from me in this blog. Don’t forget to watch Stampin’ Sunday on my youtube channel because that’s where I will introduce what my blog posts will focus around for that week.
This week is all about Heartfelt Blooms, which is one of the FREE stamp sets you can get when you order $50 from my online store. Let’s get started with making our own version of a background using this adorable stamp set 🙂
What you will need to make this project includes: Product List
Dimensions (In Inches):
Tranquil Tide: 4.25 x 5.5
Berry Burst: 4 x 5.25
Whisper White: 3.75 x 5
Piece of Whisper White for Label Punch
The first step is going to be taking the flower stamp from the Heartfelt Bloom’s stamp set and use the Berry Burst Ink pad to make a background on our 3.75 x 5 size Whisper White. Have a scrap piece of paper behind your whisper white and stamp the image and then stamp again to get a distorted image, then re-ink the stamp and do this process until the whole paper is full of the flower stamp image.
Then we want to work on our sentiment. Stamp using the Label Me Pretty Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday sentiment. I used Berry Burst ink pad then used the label punch to cut it out.
Next we are going to start finishing up our card and putting it together. Using the Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon, cut a piece that will go across the whisper white background piece and Berry Burst Cardstock piece. These two cardstock pieces can be adhesived together and then measure the ribbon to reach across them, adhesive it down, and tuck extra behind card.
Once you have ribbon attached and tucked behind the berry burst sheet you can now finish up putting this card together. Use Stampin’ dimensionals to attach label to ribbon, and adhesive the berry burst onto tranquil tide cardstock. This is your card front and can be attached to a card base (8.5 x 5.5 folded in half).
Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Don’t miss out on the rest of the Heartfelt Blooms posts during this week. Subscribe to my blog 🙂
